LEPROSY FINAL PUSH

WHAT: Zambia Leprosy initiative — “The Final Push” — began in 2007 with a generous grant from a private donor. The programme combined leprosy-reducing education and treatment programmes in remote, high-prevalence regions of Zambia. We trained 70 healthcare workers and community volunteers at faith-based health facilities in the identification and treatment of leprosy and provided people living with leprosy treatment and support.
